What You'll Walk Away With
Six real outcomes, not six hours of theory.
A clear starting point
Pick a capable AI tool and model for real work — without falling into a comparison rabbit hole.
A working AI artifact
You'll build something real, live, in the room — from your own idea, not a canned demo.
The Interview Method
A repeatable way to direct AI with questions, plans, and checkpoints — instead of guessing at prompts.
Your AI co-founder, configured
Leave with an AI workspace set up around YOUR goals, not a generic template.
A reusable context file
One document that makes every future AI session start smart instead of cold.
A failure-mode reset button
Spot hallucinations, generic output, and cold starts — and know exactly how to reset instead of restart.
The Session
One 2 hour 40 minute session. Live, hands-on, and you leave with something built.
Welcome + where you're starting from
Quick round of what everyone's hoping to walk out with — so the session stays useful to the room, not generic.
The fluency gap
Most people use AI at about 10% of its real capability. We'll show what 100% looks like, and the specific habits that get you there.
Picking your AI co-founder
How to choose a tool and model for real work without getting stuck comparing every option on the market.
The Interview Method
A structured way to prompt — using questions, plans, and staged checkpoints to keep AI aligned before it builds the final thing.
Live build: idea → working tool
Watch (and follow along) as we turn a real idea into a working interactive tool, live, using the Interview Method start to finish.
Build your own context file
Create the personal or business context document that makes every future AI project faster and more consistent — you'll leave with it done.
Fixing common AI failures
Cold starts, context rot, hallucinations, sycophancy, generic output — how to spot each one and reset the work instead of scrapping it.
Hands-on: build your first AI artifact
Guided time to build something from your own idea, with help in the room. This is what you'll actually leave with.

Your Instructor
Ashley Kays
Founder, South Florida AI · Founder, Waymaker
Ashley Kays is a product strategist, builder, and educator with deep experience across product development, UX, digital strategy, and AI-powered tools. She founded South Florida AI after seeing the same pattern over and over: smart, capable people who knew AI was important but didn't have a practical, local place to learn it.
This workshop is taught live, not pre-recorded — Ashley works the room, helping people build with their own ideas, not a canned example.
Hosted With
Waymaker
Waymaker is South Florida AI's implementation partner — the team behind the AI co-founder methods you'll learn in this session.
Common Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. No ticket, no upsell pitch at the end. This is South Florida AI and Waymaker investing in the local community.
Do I need to bring anything?
A laptop, if you have one — you'll be building something live. If you don't have a laptop, come anyway; you can pair with someone.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. This is built for people who've never written a line of code as much as people who have. The whole point is that you don't need to.
Where exactly in West Palm Beach?
Exact venue will be sent to everyone who RSVPs, along with a reminder the week of the event.
What if I can't make it in person?
This one's in-person only to keep it hands-on. RSVP anyway and we'll follow up about future sessions and recordings.
