Upcoming South Florida AI and technology conferences: a practical fall guide

October 20, 2026·South Florida AI Editorial

Compare three organizer-verified November conferences in Miami and Miami Beach, then choose the event that fits the work you want to do.

Choose an event for a question you need answered

Three useful upcoming options are TBM Conference on November 9–11, Adobe MAX on November 10–12, and the Employee Communications, Intranets & Channels Conference on November 17–19. They serve different audiences. Check the organizer’s current agenda, registration availability and terms before booking. Dates and details were reviewed October 20, 2026.

Start with a decision: do you need to assess AI investment, learn a creative workflow or improve workplace communication? Choose sessions that can help answer that question. An event’s use of the term AI does not make every session relevant to your role.

For technology and AI investment leaders: TBM Conference

TBM Conference takes place November 9–11 at Fontainebleau Miami Beach. Its focus is technology business management and AI investment value. Some training and executive activities require separate registration or invitation.

Bring a practical question about the cost and outcome of one AI initiative. Record the definitions behind any case-study metric before comparing it with your own work. A vendor’s success story is a useful question starter, not a forecast for your organization.

For designers and creative professionals: Adobe MAX

Adobe MAX runs November 10–12 in Miami Beach and online, with preconference activities November 8–9. The organizer lists an Accelerating Creativity with AI track alongside design, imaging, video and other creative disciplines. Confirm which sessions your pass or online registration includes.

Choose a workflow to reproduce after the event: a product image review, a reusable design system or an accessible content template. Separate what you observed in a demo from what you later tested yourself. Keep rights, product accuracy and human review visible in your notes.

For employee communication teams: ALI’s Miami conference

The Employee Communications, Intranets & Channels Conference is at Mayfair House Hotel & Garden in Coconut Grove, November 17–19. The workshop is November 17; general sessions are November 18–19. It addresses workplace content, channels and AI rather than research on model development.

Bring one communication problem, such as employees being unable to find a current policy. Ask how a proposed AI workflow identifies the authoritative source, handles an outdated document and preserves a person’s ability to verify the answer.

Plan the trip and the follow-through

For West Palm Beach, Broward and surrounding communities, compare total travel time, venue access and the full cost of attendance. Two conferences overlap in the same week; do not assume you can attend both complete programs. Confirm transit schedules and hotel terms directly before purchasing.

Choose two sessions, one question for a peer and one small follow-up experiment. Take notes with source links and permission where needed. Within a week, test one useful idea on a small sample and record what happened. Networking is a chance to build relationships, not permission to add people to a mailing list.

If the conference is not a good fit, use the events directory to find a smaller local gathering or an online option. The jobs board can help you compare the skills employers actually request; attendance by itself is not a job qualification or a hiring guarantee.
